Tiamo—titration and more! Tiamo is a control and database software for titrators, dosing devices, and sample changers that allows complete laboratory automation—which is how Tiamo got its name. But Tiamo can do more than just titrate! It is global platform for laboratory automation, which means that an international company can employ the same software in every regional lab to process titration samples and share data around the world. Tiamo’s modern interface makes it easy for users to get up to speed quickly—all command and control functions are located where users would expect them. The Tiamo bar on the left-hand side of the screen allows access to the four basic Tiamo workspaces: configuration, method, workplace, and database. Any menu commands or buttons are visible or hidden, depending on the user’s access rights. The display for the basic Tiamo workspaces can be individually adjusted for each user with the aid of the new Layout Manager™. This means that each user can only see the windows or buttons necessary for his or her work, minimizing user-training time.
